2020 has been a whirlwind in more ways than one. Those of us working in the creative industry have been hit particularly hard, especially those of us shooting weddings. With bans on large, indoor gatherings and guest limits to outdoor weddings, many couples decided to postpone their weddings until 2021. The only problem with that is there were people who had already planned for a 2021 wedding! As this season winds down over the next couple weeks, booking season will begin and its going to be NUTS!!

With the demand for wedding shooters going up, the number of shooters is also going to have to go up to meet the demand. If you were ever considering shooting weddings, 2021 is the time to start!

Weddings are not easy. You rarely have time to plan and execute a shot. Most of the day is flying by the seat of your pants and hoping that you capture everything! They are stressful environments that always manage to run behind schedule. The flip side? They pay extremely well.

I've been shooting weddings for about 3 years now and I have learned some really helpful things during that time. In our most recent video on the Gear Focus channel, I walk you through some of the tips and tricks that I've learned in my time doing weddings. Hopefully these help you out and you can start shooting weddings and making that dough, yo!!
