Angenieux's Optimo Prime 100mm T1.8 Lens is a PL-mount optic that boasts a remarkably speedy T1.8 maximum aperture, compatibility with Cooke /i and ARRI LDS lens metadata transmission, a removable iris blade unit, remarkable 320° focus rotation, and user-customizable bokeh. It shares a unified color profile with all other Optimo lenses, including the Optimo zoom series. Each optic in this line has nonlinear zoom and iris, internal optical components made of glass, and a provision for a rear-mounted filter. All lenses in the Optimo Prime line have a 95mm front diameter (apart from 18 and 200mm), allowing for comfortable lens swapping without needing to readjust focus motor or matte box installations.
