Angenieux's Optimo Style wide-angle zoom lens (16-40mm) comes with an ASU servo unit which offers you control over focus, zoom, and iris. This high-speed lens is suitable for Super35-sized sensors.

The Angenieux 16 to 40mm Optimo Style Zoom Lens is designed to support 4K resolution for Super 35mm sensors. Mimicking the optical design of the Angenieux Optimo DP series, this lens features a zoom range of 16-40mm and a fast aperture of T2.8. The lens bears no breathing or ramping along the zoom range. Its focus ring shows over 20 precise witness marks across a 320° rotation. With a weight of just 4.2 pounds, it is quite light for its zoom range. Furthermore, it comes with a standard ARRI PL mount and has industry-standard zoom and focus gears. Fully optimized for large single sensor cameras, this lens offers expanded capabilities with optional Optimo 1.4x and 2x range extenders.

Angenieux Optimo Style Zoom Lens (16-40mm) with PL Mount

The Angenieux ASU Servo Unit offers ENG-style servo-control over focus, iris and zoom for your Angenieux lightweight zoom lens. With minimal cables and bolt-on design, the ASU ensures quick setup. It is also compatible with several wired and wireless lens control systems and can generate Cooke /i metadata. It can record metadata to your camera when used with an optional PL lens mount /i Cooke interface. Additionally, to avoid unintended adjustments, the ASU's zoom, iris and focus motors can be switched off independently.

Angenieux Servo Unit - ASU

The ASU serves to control focus, iris, and zoom and attaches directly to Angenieux zooms, offering remote FIZ control with select devices. It generates lens metadata in Cooke /i format and integrates with motion control systems, monitors, etc. via /i output port. Motors for focus, iris, and zoom can be shut off independently based on your remote setup.
