The Angenieux 30-76mm Optimo Style Zoom Lens offers a 4K+ resolution for sensor sizes up to Super 35. This mid-range lens is compact and lightweight, showcasing a 2.5x zoom range. It's a part of the Optimo Style series, which is Angenieux's lineup between the classic Optimo Cine lenses and the more ENG-focused EZ series. The lenses in the Optimo Style series can be color-matched with the classic Optimo lenses, offer interchangeable mounts, and are compatible with both the ASU servo control and Optimo 1.4x and 2x extenders. The focus ring features over 20 witness marks due to its 320° rotation. Its internal focus design ensures constant lens length during focus changes, eliminating the occurrence of breathing during focus pulls. This lens includes a standard ARRI PL mount, with optional Panavision and Canon EF lens mounts available separately. It integrates perfectly with the optional Angenieux ASU servo unit, zoom motors, follow focus units, and wireless F/I/Z systems owing to its 0.8-MOD gears.

The Angenieux Servo Unit, also known as ASU, bestows your lightweight Angenieux zoom lens with servo control for focus, iris, and zoom in an ENG style. This mix of minimum cables and direct bolting onto the lens ensures a swift setup time. The ASU can generate Cooke /i metadata compatible with select wired and wireless lens control systems. For recording the metadata to your camera, pair the ASU with an optional PL lens mount /i Cooke interface. Depending on your remote control settings, you can independently disable the ASU's focus, iris, and zoom motors to prevent accidental adjustments.

Angenieux ASU Servo Unit

This ASU offers servo control directly attached to Angenieux zooms in a handgrip style. It's capable of wired/wireless remote FIZ control with certain devices and provides lens metadata in Cooke /i format. It can integrate with motion control systems, monitors, etc. via an /i output port. Use it with an optional lens mount to record metadata directly to the camera. Depending on the remote setup, you can independently deactivate the focus, iris, and zoom motors.
