Its 15-element iris helps produce unmistakably cinematic oval bokeh with distinctive subject isolation. The lens also guarantees minimal focus breathing and avoids the anamorphic mumps distortion effect. Engineered with digital cinematography in mind, it delivers excellent image quality when paired with an ARRI ALEXA 4:3 sensor camera, though it's still compatible with film setups.
