When I put a piece of gear up for sale, I’m ready to part ways with it, and hope that someone else gains from using it. It does nothing for anyone to have a good piece of gear just sit, un-used. I also realize that there are many others like me selling the same equipment, in various states of use (and sometimes misuse), and all I want is to sell mine and not compete with others trying to make extra profit. My pricing method: I usually check out brokers like KEH or MPB and price what they would offer me for my equipment, then I see what others are selling theirs for, and I come to a good price in between.
