This was my own personal lens that I purchased new in the summer of 2022 from Hunt Photo and Video. The sharpness is unparalleled. I used it very sparingly (probably a dozen times) with the FTZ converter until I got my 800mm Z lens towards the end of that summer. Although I find the sharpness of the 800 to be fantastic, I find the sharpness of this to be even better. The reason why I am selling it is, I have two bad shoulders and a pinched nerve in a wrist and elbow. There is just no way in the world I can hand hold it. I can’t even carry it comfortably at long distances. But I can handhold the 800mm to some degree, and it feels so much lighter on a mile walk. I can just carry the 800mm on my camera on a strap, whereas If I had to walk more than 10 minutes I would have to put the 600mm into a heavy, padded backpack, which made the carrying even more difficult because of the extra weight. It is in excellent condition all around, and is basically pretty much like new. I paid more than $13K for it and I’m taking a hell of a hit for only owning it for 18 months, but my loss is your gain.
