Speedotron D1604D 1600 Watt Studio Flash Kit

The Speedotron D1604 1600 Watt/Second Power Supply is Speedotron's top-of-the-line in the Brown Series. Recycling its 1600 watt/seconds in just 6 seconds.

- Safe Sync Line Current
- A circuit breaker is incorporated to ensure safe, trouble-free operation. The flash trigger circuit utilizes an extremely low - current of approximately 45 microamps -- very good for protecting a camera's sensitive circuitry.
- Fast Recycle Time
- The D1604 recycles in 5.9 seconds @ full power
- Fan Cooled
- Equipped with a quiet, powerful fan, making it suitable for hours of continuous, repetitive, full-power shooting.

We have here a Speedotron Brown Line electronic flash outfit made up of the following:

- One Model D1604 power pack. This power pack is rated at 1600 watt seconds and has a full power, half power and quarter power switch. It works in symmetrical and asymmetrical mode. There is a diagram on the side of the power pack to show how many watt seconds each light head socket has in the asymmetrical mode.
- One (1) 12” Universal Light Unit 1200 watt color corrected flash tube
- One (1) 7” Universal Light Unit 1200 watt color corrected flash tube
- Two (2) 5.5” reflector, 400 watt-second color corrected flash tube, 150 watt model lamp
- One (1) SN3 | Snoot for 5.5” reflector
- 3 light stands
- Case that stores the entire kit

All this equipment is used, but in excellent working order. The power pack can accommodate and includes four light heads. There are some very minor scratches from studio use, but they do not affect the proper operation of the lights. I personally used this outfit to do my own photography studio for years and its a great workhorse.
