At its core is a 12MP sensor in a 1/2.3-inch format, paired with the Venus Engine HD II image processor. Autofocus is handled by an 11-point contrast detection system with subject tracking enabled. A 2.7-inch TFT LCD at 230,000 dots is the sole framing interface, with no viewfinder present. The built-in pop-up flash supports Auto, On, Off, Red-eye, and Slow Sync modes.
