AA Filter-Free Design: The RX1R removes the optical low-pass filter found on the standard RX1, allowing for maximum sharpness and fine detail resolution from the 24MP sensor.

Description — Sony DSC-RX1R
The Sony Cyber-shot RX1R pairs a 24MP full-frame 35mm sensor with Sony's BIONZ image processor inside a body machined from magnesium alloy and aluminum, measuring 113 x 65 x 70 mm and weighing 482g. It is a point-and-shoot camera in form factor, but the sensor size puts it in a very different performance category. The ISO range runs from 100 to 25600, and the camera supports a 5fps burst mode for capturing fast-moving moments.
Autofocus is handled by a contrast-detection system across 25 points, though subject tracking and eye tracking are not available. The rear 3.0-inch fixed TFT LCD resolves 1,229,000 dots and is non-touch. No viewfinder is built in, but the Multi Interface Shoe accepts optional electronic or optical viewfinder accessories.
Video records at up to 1080p at 60fps in 8-bit, with a 3.5mm microphone jack and Micro HDMI output for monitoring. Color profiles available for both stills and video include Standard, Vivid, Neutral, Portrait, Landscape, and B&W, with stills also supporting sRGB and Adobe RGB. Storage is handled by SD, SDHC, SDXC, or Memory Stick PRO Duo cards.
The NP-BX1 battery is rated for up to 220 shots per charge. There is no built-in flash, no Wi-Fi, and no Bluetooth.
