DJI Mavic Mini Drone

The DJI Mavic Mini is a great option for any creative since it’s size is perfect for traveling and not having to question whether it is worth bringing along to your next shoot or trip. Trust us, we know how hard packing gear for a trip can be, especially when space is limited (like when you’re flying to your destination). Full specs for the Mavic Mini can be found on our recent blog that we released when the drone was first announced. Click here to read more about the DJI Mavic Mini.

A fascinating discussion is worth comment. I do think that
you ought to write more about this subject, it might not be a taboo
matter but generally people don’t speak about such issues.
    To the next! Kind regards!!

I have been talking pictures my whole life..the past 8 years with a digital camera 📷.. Last year my half sister gave me her used/ older model which was much nicer then anything I was used to using. I’m taking very great photos now. To have a drone next year to take photos with would be excellent!!!!

Hopefully I win! My drone that I have right now is too bulky and I can’t take it anywhere. I need a drone that can maneuver into small places and that is now huge and obvious. Please pick me!

      Hi Sarah,

As always, you’ll want to verify with any local and federal laws regarding licensing and particularly where you want to fly. The Part 107 drone license denotes that if you are flying recreationally, you won’t need one. Also of note – this drone comes in at .548 lbs. which is JUST below the .55 lb minimum threshold for needing to register your drone with the FAA! With all that said, I went ahead and got my part 107 license about a year ago and it was pretty easy. There is a wealth of information and practice exams available online to help guide you through it. Cost isn’t anything outrageous and you get a pretty cool little green FAA pilot license to boot!
