ARRI Master Prime 100mm Lens - PL Mount (Metrics)

The ARRI/Zeiss 100mm Master Prime lens is part of a collection of 16 superior quality lenses, famous for their remarkable resolution, enhanced contrast, negligible breathing, and a fast T1.3 aperture for creating a shallow depth of field. The Master Primes set, ranging from 12mm to 150mm, are known for the skin tones and color replication characteristic of Zeiss, and are color-matched for a uniform look across the set. Each lens features a minimum of nine iris blades for a cinematic bokeh effect and clear focus separation. The implementation of dual floating elements ensures optimal close-focus performance and reduces breathing upon focusing. The advanced T*XP coating minimizes reflections and glare, resulting in an improved contrast. The ARRI/Zeiss Master Primes lenses are fashioned with aspherical elements to restrict chromatic aberration, thus ensuring optimal image quality and cleaner chroma-keying. The high resolution is sustained in image corners even when the lens is wide open or at close focus. Every lens in this series includes a PL mount and an integrated LDS system for transmitting lens data to compatible cameras. The expanded focus scale comes with ample space for marks and flaunts fluorescent engravings for enhanced visibility in low-light settings. The focus ring comes with both feet and metric gradings; a certified shop technician can reverse the ring from one to the other. The 100mm Master Prime Lens features a 39" minimum focus distance, focus marks measured in meters, a somewhat light weight of 6.4 pounds, and a compact length of 8". The Master Prime lens series come with consistent placement of focus, iris, and zoom rings for easier adjustments with follow focus, zoom control, and F/I/Z wireless systems. Majority of the lenses in the Master Prime family, including the 100mm, share a uniform 114mm front diameter, making it possible to use the same size matte box adapter, filter, and other accessories.
