It operates similarly to a conventional ENG TV lens when the drive unit is attached, offering familiar interfaces and accessories to broadcast professionals. This feature also decreases preparation time by negating the need for complex cinema-focused drive systems. Even with the drive unit detached, the lens is compatible with standard 0.8mm cine gearing, permitting the use of widely available third-party cinema accessories. Drawing on both Fujifilm's broadcast and cinema lens expertise, it is designed to be both featherlight and concise.
