This Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 AF Ultra Wide-Angle Lens is tailored for APS-C format Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, offering a broad 18mm equivalent view in 35mm full-frame format. The optics minimize chromatic aberrations and distortions, ensuring sharp, clear images, thanks to two extra-low dispersion, one aspherical, and one hybrid-aspherical elements. All elements boast Ultra Multi-Coating to cut down on lens flare and ghosting, heightening contrast and color accuracy. A large aperture of f/2.0 aids in shooting under challenging light conditions, giving better control over depth of field. Autofocus is rapid and stealthy due to the Linear STM motor, complemented by helpful features including a custom switch and a focus hold button on the lens barrel.
