The Rokinon 50mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC Prime Lens designed for Canon EF mounts delivers an exemplary 50mm focal reach on full-frame gadgets, alongside an exceptionally wide f/1.4 aperture to excel in low-light conditions, fast exposure settings, and selective focus techniques. When mounted on an APS-C sensor camera, the focal length mirrors an 80mm perspective. This optic is constructed with 9 lens elements in 6 groups, integrating one hybrid aspherical element and one glass aspherical element to mitigate chromatic variances. The Ultra Multi-Coating applied to the elements enhances light transmission and reduces lens flare and ghosting. The lens provides a manual focus mechanism and maintains a constant physical length due to its internal focusing design, offering precise focusing with tactile control. An accompanying petal-type lens hood deflects stray light and safeguards the lens.
