Sony's updated 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor offers nuanced, low-noise images with extensive sensitivity from ISO 100-32000, which can be boosted to ISO 51200 for dim conditions. The sensor's copper wiring and circuitry enhance its light collection capability, which complements the BIONZ X image processor to promote speedy readout speeds, a high continuous shooting rate of 11 fps, and produces 14-bit raw files for a broad dynamic range and color fidelity.

High-Resolution Sensor and Advanced Image Processing

The a6100 is capable of internal UHD 4K video recording at multiple frame rates up to 30 fps using the XAVC S codec at 100Mbps.
