Optimized for digital cinematography, the lightweight Venus Optics Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D lens provides an expansive field of view of 113°. Its functionality is perfect for wide landscape scenes and confined interiors. With a compact form factor, it caters to handheld, gimbal, and tripod setups. The lens encompasses 15 optical elements in 10 groups, a 7-blade diaphragm for an aesthetically pleasing bokeh, and minimal distortion with a close focus distance of 4.72 inches. Both focus and iris rings are standardized with 0.8 MOD gears for follow focus systems, and it is equipped with a 58mm diameter and 55mm thread for filter attachments. Side-engraved focus and iris scale markings facilitate precision for focus pullers. Protection and ease of transportation come courtesy of the included Pelican case with tailored foam inserts.
