At GearFocus, we’re committed to a safe, transparent marketplace for buyers and sellers. Our return policy ensures fairness and satisfaction for all parties. Here are the key points:

 

Default Return Policy:

  • Returns are only accepted if the item received does not match the listing description at the time of purchase. This includes items that arrive damaged due to shipping or items misdescribed by the seller.

  • If the item is not as described, the buyer is entitled to a full refund, including shipping costs.

 

Return Requests and Deadlines:

  • Buyers must initiate a return request with the seller within 48 hours of receiving the item.

  • Once the seller accepts the return request, the buyer must ship the item back within 5 days.

 

Fees for Returns Not Due to Seller Error:

  • If a seller voluntarily accepts a return for reasons other than the item being misdescribed or damaged, the buyer will:

    • Incur a 3% payment processing fee.

    • Be subject to a 5% restocking fee, both deducted from the refund.

    • Be responsible for all return shipping costs.

 

Condition and Packaging Requirements:

  • Returned items must be:

    • In the original condition as shipped.

    • Packaged using the original materials, including all parts and accessories.

 

High-Value Items:

  • For pre-owned items priced over $1,500, a 15% restocking fee may apply.

 

“No Return” Items:

  • Items listed as “Poor” or “As-Is” cannot be returned.

 

Seller-Specific Policies:

  • Individual sellers may have additional return policies displayed on their store pages. These policies complement but do not override GearFocus’s terms.

  • Example: A seller offering "No Returns" must still deliver the item as described in the listing.

 

Disputes Over Returns:

  • If buyers and sellers cannot resolve a return dispute, contact support@gearfocus.com for mediation and resolution assistance.
