It's incredibly versatile, powerful, and captures an impressively beautiful image (and, to my surprise, is also a low-light monster, with a dual native ISO of 800 and 5000). I ignored this camera for the first year or so of its lifetime, assuming it was a gimmick, and that it could only be used with the native DJI lenses (which don't appeal to me one bit with f/2.8 apertures and lack of character). What a mistake that was- this thing is a professional workhorse, and I would trust it on any production that requires smooth, stable shots. I would absolutely not be selling it if not for a large documentary production I've just been hired on for, which requires a very different kit and approach. I'm sure I will have a huge sense of seller's remorse when I say goodbye to this thing. It's a tad heavy at ~12lb with a basic setup, but is very usable handheld in short 30-60min stints, and absolutely shines for long one-takes either handheld or hooked up to an EasyRig or the Tilta Float available in this kit. But when you're using the 4D at its best (for smooth, beautiful b-roll), it operates like a dream when mounted on a monopod, allowing for beautiful dolly movements, both lateral and in/out. I tend to shoot in ProRes422 LT for max storage space (especially for event coverage/weddings/etc), but with the ProRes Raw upgrade, which I've purchased, and have loaded onto the camera permanently, you can capture using the dense and detailed raw format, for even more control in post. I've carried it in multiple different cases over the months, and all have their pros and cons, depending on your uses. But I will be happy to ship in the container of your choice. Alternatively, I can ship everything in their original manufacturer's packaging, which I have for all of the higher ticket items, and most of the smaller ones as well. Keep in mind though, that this will likely increase the cost to ship. I realize customization is not possible when buying through a vendor like GF, but I'm happy to consider different bundle variations, so I've listed each separate "chunk" of gear into price categories, with standalone prices along with bundled prices, if you'd like to "build your own bundle."
