This camera kit is nearly everything you need to get started shooting anything from short films to a professional photography. It's a great kit whether you're just getting started or looking for an extra camera. I purchased this camera just about 2 years ago mainly for video. My work now requires me to use other cameras and when I realized I’d nearly forgot the Lumix menu system, I decided it was time to let it go to someone who can put it to good use. I take very good care of my gear and mean it when I say this camera is in Excellent or "Like new" condition. There is one small scratch on the base of the camera on the left side of the grip. The lens caps have seen the worst of it being tucked in a back pocket from time to time and they have to marks to prove it. There is a small amount of dust within the lens but this should not effect image quality. You could send it out to be cleaned but I've never had any trouble with it in any professional setting and wouldn’t bother. Beyond those 3 notes, I was surprised to find everything looked almost exactly the way it did when I first purchased it. For Video this camera is packed with features other brands don't offer. Wave forms and shutter angle make shooting video much easier. The In-Body Image Stabilization in this camera is incredible, allowing you to shoot hand held with ease. The V-Log profile is my favorite log profile of any brand I’ve used. It gives a cinematic quality I’d only seen in black magic cameras before. The Rec709 picture profile is a close second giving great auto focus and a near finished image that still gives flexibility in post. The S5's truly a hybrid camera shooting crips clean photographs. You can also use the L-Classic Neo picture profile get a film like look right out of camera. I paired this camera with the Sigma 24-70, a pro level lens with fantastic image rending. The standard zoom range and wide aperture make it great for any type of shooting. The final Item required to start shooting is SD cards. I can wholeheartedly endorse the SanDisk 128gb v30 cards.
