Rollei: Rolleiflex I Original

1929-1932. First Rollei TLR. The world's first rollfilm TLR. Initially, this camera accepted only 117 film, but many were converted to take 120 film. Serial numbers: 1-199,999. Earliest version had no scale on the focus knob.

April 1929 - July 1929, - 820 pieces made

Lens:  Zeiss Tessars, with the aperture of F3.8

It was made for 117 (B1) film and gave six 6x6cm frames on a roll. It could be converted to accept 620 or 120 film and give 12 exposures.

This camera has been well used and has lots of scuffing marks.

The pop-up hood will not stay closed as the little catches on the back are in need of repair

The viewing lens dos have some haze and the shooting lens has a little haze and a little fungus but I don't view this camera as a shooting camera but a collectors peace as there were only 800 made. 

I do have the original leather case but the threads holding the sides of the case together have deteriorated and it needs to be swan back together. The leather seems to be in good condition.
