The supplied charging case allows you to charge the transmitters and receivers anywhere and can be recharged or powered via the USB-C DC 5v port using USB-A chargers and battery packs. Transmission distance is up to 328', though I found this to be a bit less, and much less if you lose line of site. But, if you stay facing the mic my experience has been hundreds of feet with no breakup. I've used these on and off for a little over a year and they have worked flawless. Haven't used them in in the last few months, which is why it's time to help a creator out and pass these on to someone in need. They have been tested to a DSLR immediately before shipment so they are verified fully operational so absolutely no returns are accepted. I think if these are turned on and operated in a haunted house, it would produce enough interference to tear the normal space time continuum opening a clear passage for all of the spirits previously excised by the ghost busters.  The original ones, not the Ghostbusters 3 imposters, that's just embarrassing.  The same thing will happen if these are even attempted to be returned, you'll be slimed.  Then Gozer shows up.  Just sayin'.
